PakNEV exists because buying and running an electric or hybrid car in Pakistan is harder than it should be. Prices move, specs get lost in translation, and nobody can tell you with a straight face where the nearest working charger is. We built the site we wished existed. The NEV in our name stands for New Energy Vehicle, the term Pakistan’s own policy uses for electric and plug-in cars, and it is exactly what we cover.
We keep a catalog of the electric, hybrid and plug-in cars sold in Pakistan, with prices, on-road costs and the specifications that actually matter (real range, charging speed, connector type). We maintain a map of public charging stations, kept honest by live check-ins from drivers who are actually standing there. We run a comparison tool, a route planner, and a directory of neighbourhood hosts who share their home plugs.
Where we can verify something, we do: we place charging pins by hand, we call stations, and we mark data we could not confirm as exactly that. Where numbers are estimates, we say so.
We are not a dealer and not a marketplace. We do not sell cars, we do not broker deals, and we take no commission from anyone: not from dealers, not from charging operators, not from neighbourhood hosts. Nobody pays to rank higher in our catalog or on our map.
That independence is the whole product. The moment a listing can be bought, the guide stops being worth reading.
Prices and specifications are compiled from public sources and are indicative, not quotes: confirm the exact figure with the dealer before you buy. Charging information is community-informed and can go stale between one driver's visit and yours, so call ahead on a long trip. Neighbourhood listings are private individuals; we list them, we do not vouch for them.
Spotted a wrong price, a dead charger, or a station we are missing? Tell us. You can add a charging station, report station status right from the map, or write to us about anything else. The site is only as good as what drivers feed back into it.
